I should probably be outside enjoying the first really nice day of the year weather wise but I have too much to do to be able to do that. I might get done in time to catch some of the afternoon sun but I’m not going to get my hopes up on that. I figured I would start things off by writing this since it is something I have been meaning to do for what seems like forever. It is just one of those things that I would keep telling myself that I would get around to doing but at the end of the day it never happened. Well that stops today as I am obviously writing this now.
When I’m done with this entry and I really don’t know how much I am going to write I am going to switch gears and figure out what I want to use for a backup service. I have heard good things in my preliminary research on online cloud storage so I’m going to probably end up going with them. I realized last week that I have way too many pictures and files and other stuff on my hard drive that isn’t backed up. I have a good computer and all but as the saying goes it is better to be safe than sorry. Plus with what I am looking at I can also access my files at work or when I’m traveling or wherever I am in the world. I guess if I was in the South Pole with no internet access I wouldn’t be able to access them but you know what I meant.
That will wrap up my time online which will be nice because I don’t like spending more time than I have to on my computer at home since I am on one all day at work. Next up I’m going to be doing some much needed organizing and it starts and ends in my basement. Look up the word ‘clutter’ in the dictionary and I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw a picture of my basement as an example. I have a ton of junk down there that I want to get rid of so I imagine I’ll be down there for at least a couple of hours. I told my friend Alicia that she could stop by later to help me out and she said she would think about which probably means I’ll be down there by myself the whole time.
It is that time of the year now when it is starting to get colder. I don’t mean a little brisk either but downright cold to the point where you have to turn the heat on in both your car and home. I did both yesterday for the first time and am not too happy about it. I loathe the winter like a fish out of water. There’s just not as much going on unless you like being glued to your TV watching sports on the weekends. I don’t and never will so I have to find other things to do which is always a challenge. My boyfriend is no help as he does not enjoy doing anything outside when it requires wearing more than one layer of clothing. Don’t get me wrong we still have fun but I wish we could be outside doing it instead. Ok that is enough ranting about Old Man Winter making his presence felt I will now move on to a different more exciting topic for the duration of this post.
